Bio
Arshad Farhad received the B.S. degree in Information Technology from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2012, the M.S. degree in Telecommunication from Bahria University, Pakistan, in 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Chosun University, Gwangju, Korea, in 2022. He is currently an Assistant Professor and member of the Wireless and Mobile Communication Systems Laboratory at the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Chosun University, Gwangju, Korea. His current research interests include Medium Access Control (MAC) layer resource allocation in the Internet of Things (loT) protocols using AI applications.

Proposed signal processing and AI approaches to solve the issue of resource allocation (e.g., the data rate and the transmission power assignment and management) to end devices under the condition of mobility in LoRaWAN.

The proposed approaches leverage the predictive filters and machine learning algorithms to achieve project goals in terms of packet success ratio improvement by 5% every year.
